Aurora Thunderjet Ho Slot Car Race Chassis Lot Vintage T-jet Racers

  
This is a group of modified Aurora Thunderjet HO slot car chassis from the 1960's. I love finding cars and chassis that were modified back when they were new. Just picked this lot up from a friend. All have some kind of modification. All ran when tested with a t-jet power supply but will need cleaned and lubed to run right.

I put oil on one rear gear just because it was tight and did not want it damaging the motor. The right front chassis must have been his favorite. Green arm, trimmed sides for air flow, double-flange rear wheels and trick aluminum front wheels. He cut the back off the chassis so I included another blank tuff-ones chassis that was in the box so you could swap all the parts if desired.

It has holes drilled in the side for air flow, too. The front center chassis has shunt wires soldered on and has the sides cut out for air flow.
