Rare New in Open Box Tamiya 1/10 R/C Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI #58128 FF TA02 Chassis Racing Car. This kit is brand new and was first available in 1993. It is based on a TA-02 chassis which is a 4 Wheel Drive, shaft driven unit. Oil filled dampers (shocks) all around with lower wishbone and upper control arm suspension system. A 540 Mabuchi Motor and 3-Speed manual speed controller is included.

For its time, it was a nice driving car with a very reliable drivetrain. If you decide to build this vehicle, you will need a radio system and a 7.2v battery pack. I would also recommend equipping the vehicle will full ball bearings as the included bushings will wear over time resulting in slop. Many performance parts are still available for this chassis ranging from a full FRP double-deck chassis replacement to low-friction aluminum shocks. Tamiya kits from this era are awesome.

The boxes were large and flat. The first time you open them, it reveals all the cool pieces of the car.

You couldn't wait to start putting the thing together. This is in comparison to how these are packaged nowadays.

The most compact box possible and everything wrapped in plastic bundles that you can't really see. This kit is a faithful reproduction of the 1992 155 V6 TIs which Alfa campaigned in DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft) racing in Germany.

This car dominated DTM taking 12 of the 20 races and winning the championship. It crushed the Mercedes 190E based cars of the time.
