Tillett W1i Injected GRP 40cm Width Uncovered Race Car Seat - Without Back Frame. The Tillett W1 car seat is extremely narrow yet it can still accommodate the majority of drivers. The shape is the same as the B6 but without the headrest making it suitable for an application where there is already a headrest support.

W1i Injected The W1i is available with a floor mountable back frame, which makes it possible to mount the seat directly to the floor or the Tillett TR1 seat adjustment runners. The W1i moulding has two smooth sides making the seat more attractive than the handmade variety. The method of manufacture used to make the W1i makes it less expensive than the W1 but with higher quality. W1 Handmade The W1 shape can be ordered in handmade Carbon/Kevlar or GRP shells. The handmade W1 cannot be ordered with a back frame.

Both the W1i and W1 can also be ordered with or without covering. A half covered example is ideal for open top cars. The W1i/W1 shape is the seat most suited to Formula Student University projects. The image shows the seat fitted with the optional Back Frame.
